The origional Community College of Denver North was located on 62nd and Downing.\u00a0 The doors were opened for the fall of 1968.\u00a0 \u00a0A transition happened where the campus moved to it's permanent home.<\/p>\n
After relocating, the FRCC North Campus was opened Fall of 1977.\u00a0 \u00a0The campus is located on 112th in Westminster Colorado.\u00a0 CCD North, started out having 160 acres to build it's educational institution. At the time there were 4,831 students.<\/p>\n
In 1983, the CCD North Campus changed its name to Front Range Community College.\u00a0 FRCC is still a part of the Community College of Denver and the Colorado Community College System.\u00a0 Front Range Community College is a campus of marvel and innovation.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
During the hight of the energy crisis, FRCC Westminster Campus, was the largest known facility in the world that was totally solar heated.\u00a0 The architects made the the campus into one long hallway in order to conserve energy.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
